How We Met The newly engaged couple's journey started at St. Francis High School. In 2019, Kaiden and Anna navigated the halls but hadn’t been introduced to each other—until mutual friends brought them together and helped develop a close-knit friend group. Kaiden and Anna found themselves hanging out between classes and sharing memories that would lead to a lifelong journey. It wasn’t until Grade 11 that the couple realized a spark was growing between them.

The First Date Kaiden and Anna’s first official date was on March 16th, 2020. Kaiden chose Joey’s Crowfoot, and even though they were both a bit nervous, there was an instant comfort between them. The two quickly discovered they could talk about anything and wanted to be around each other constantly. As the night went on, it was clear their relationship was flourishing, and it ended with a promise to do it all over again. They’ve kept that promise ever since.

The Journey Together The high school sweethearts spent much of their time having game nights with Kaiden’s sisters and making amazing memories with friends. They grew together, watching each other overcome what life threw their way. The couple experienced graduation, family vacations, and countless concerts together. With how their relationship was strengthening when Kaiden began to work out of town, they knew very quickly this relationship would lead to an amazing life. By helping each other learn from mistakes and accomplish goals, they knew they would become the best versions of themselves together.

The Proposal Fast forward almost five years later, to January of 2025, when the next chapter began. Kaiden had been planning this perfect moment for months. The couple, along with 50 other family members, friends, and loved ones, took an adventure to Cabo San Lucas for Richelle (Kaiden’s mom)’s birthday celebration. With everyone being there and many surprises planned for Richelle, Kaiden knew this was the perfect time to pop the question. On the second day in Mexico, Kaiden told Anna to be ready for a nice beachfront brunch. They got ready together and walked down to the water. While Anna was wondering where the brunch table was, she was quickly surprised by the most exciting moment yet. The resort had a perfect view of the beach, where Kaiden got down on one knee. Overwhelmed with emotion, the couple embraced the magical moment together. Without a doubt, Kaiden and Anna were ready to jump headfirst into this incredible journey together.

The Future Now, as they stand together forever, Kaiden and Anna feel beyond blessed to have found the love they share. From the high school cafeteria to this moment, they’ve experienced memories that have built their relationship every day and are looking forward to what God has planned for them. The journey has been beautiful and worth every moment. Kaiden and Anna are ready to step forward and build their life together, hand in hand.
